Jeffrey Gerard Kundert

May 23, 1960 – April 28, 2015

Jeff was born on May 23, 1960, to Donald Kundert and Janice Sheard Kundert-Hetherington in Bismarck, ND.
He grew up in Jamestown, ND. At the age of 15, Jeff started his cooking career at Colonial Inn and from there went to Wagon Masters where he worked until he moved to Fort Collins, CO, in 1987. He returned to Jamestown in 1989 and returned to work at Wagon Masters. He then moved to Fargo in 2000 where he cooked for several years at the Wild Rice Bar & Grill. Most recently, he worked at the Share House Inc.

Jeff considered himself a two bit fry cook, but we all know him differently. He was a gentle soul with a kind heart, quick wit, and dry sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time with family and friend and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his mother, Jan Hetherington; sister, Nancy Don Beaupre, Wolf Creek, MT; brother, Michael Sandra Kundert, Walcott, ND; uncle, Ron Leona Sheard, Sioux Falls, SD; aunt, Kathy Roger Enders, Tioga, ND and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Don Kundert; aunt, Sharon Hunter and cousins, Keith Hunter and Greg Hunter.

Funeral: Monday, May 4, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN. Visitation will be one hour before the service.

Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, ND, at a later date.
