Jeffrey K. Stempf

Jeffrey K. Stempf, 63, of Moorhead, MN, passed away with his two sisters by his side on Tuesday, March 22, 2016, in Essentia Health, Fargo, ND.

Jeffrey Kenneth Stempf was born on June 7, 1952, in Fargo, ND, to Raymond and Ardythe Mechum Stempf. He was raised in Glyndon, MN, and graduated from Glyndon-Felton High School in 1970. After graduation, Jeff took one year of auto mechanics at Moorhead Technical College. He then started to work for his father the following year at Valley Siding and Window. In 1983, Jeff bought Valley Window which he owned and operated until his retirement in January 2013. Jeff enjoyed hunting, watching television and family gatherings.

Jeff is survived by his siblings, Pam Mike Gruchalla, Fargo, ND, Shelly Wright, Moorhead, MN, Steve Stempf, Indiana, PA; nephew, Beau Tonya Matson, Lake Park, MN, nieces, Mindy John Sackrider, Batavia, OH, Shannon Wright, Mapleton, ND, and great nieces and nephews, Dakota, Cole and Gage Matson and Sadie Sackrider.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Ardythe, and nephew, Shawn Wright.

Funeral Service: Saturday, March 26, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN. Visitation will be from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m.

Interment: Riverside Cemetery, Glyndon, MN.
