Jeffrey M. Anstadt

Jeffrey Maurice Anstadt was born November 2, 1951 and died July 24, 2018 at Essentia Health. He was born to Beverly and Maurice “Bud” Anstadt and raised in Glyndon, MN. He graduated from Moorhead State University with a Business Administration degree. He worked as CEO of the Moorhead Federal Credit Union and would later retire as CEO of Northland Educators Federal Credit Union.

He is survived by his daughters, Heidi Nammour and Heather Unruh, his grandchildren, Bailey, Hanna, Noah, Mya, Tessa, Nayden and Neesen, his ex-wife and friend Kathy Anstadt, his mother, Beverly Anstadt, his brothers, Michael, James, David, and Thomas and his sister, Melissa Amdahl.

Jeff’s presence will be forever missed. He was always there for his daughters and grandchildren. When he left this world a piece of them followed. He was their dad, grandpa, friend, coach, teacher, advisor, and hero. He liked playing and watching sports and received so much pleasure watching his grandson, Noah, play football. His favorite sports figure was Muhammad Ali. Jeff enjoyed spending time with his brothers, David, Thomas and Michael. He also enjoyed going to movies, watching tv (especially Netflix), fishing, exercising, cooking, baking and shopping on QVC.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018, at 11:00 A.M., at Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead.  Friends and family may gather together from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M.
