Jeni Meuwissen

Jeni Mjolsness Meuwissen, Lakeland, MN, formally of Felton, MN, died peacefully on Saturday, September 13th, surrounded by her cherished family after an 18 month battle with cancer.

Jeni was born May 2, 1955 to Alton and Jorgee Klokseth Mjolsness and was raised in Felton, MN. She attended Glyndon-Felton High School, and NDSSS. She graduated with a nursing degree and worked at St. Ansgars Hospital in Moorhead and most recently, Noran Neurology Clinic in Minneapolis for the last 30 years.

Jeni is survived by her beloved husband Greg Meuwissen of Lakeland, MN, Daugher, Nicole Derrick Wyland Bollea of Phoenix, AZ, Stepsons Eugene, Noel, and Alex fiancé Melinda Meuwissen, 3 granddaughters Ashly, Kendall, and Evie Bollea, her mother, Jorgee, Fargo, her sisters and brothers Becky Mjolsness Nelson, Fargo; Jerry Jean Mjolsness , Moorhead, JoLyn Ray Johnson, Glyndon, Doug Karleen Mjolsness Glyndon and Karen Mike Steiner, Ft Myers, FL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Jeni is preceded in death by her father, Alton Mjolsness and mother-in-law, Rose Meuwissen.

The visitation will be on Wednesday from 4-7 at the O’Connell Funeral Home oconnellfuneralhomes.com in Hudson, WI with the funeral service on Thursday at the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Afton, MN at 11:00. A memorial service will be held at Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead, MN wrightfuneral.com Saturday, with visitation from 10-11:30, and the service at 11:30.
