Jeremiah S. Lindgren

Jeremiah Sterling Lindgren, 41, of Fargo, ND, passed away February 26, 2025, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo.

Jeremiah was born February 3, 1984, to Glenn M. Lindgren and Victoria L. (Vogt) Lindgren. He was always an advocate for expanding one’s knowledge and was proud of his educational accomplishments. He graduated from Dassel Cokato High School in 2002 and attended several universities to obtain his bachelor’s degree to expand his never-ending drive for knowledge and had plans on pursuing even more.

Jeremiah had many accomplishments in life, including his work as a Security Officer with SilverSEAL Security, College Assistant at CUNY Kingsborough, Phlebotomist, Donor Outreach Supervisor and Lab Assistant, Admissions Officer at NDSU, Notary Public, Reverend and End of Life Doula.

Jeremiah lived in New York for many years and New York always held a special place in his heart. He loved to travel, especially to Salzburg, Austria and Costa Rica. Because he enjoyed learning new things and was always expanding his mind, he saw the beauty in different cultures, learning different languages and different religions. He loved to cook and was not afraid to try new recipes and foods from around the world. He always had a love for the Arts and was musically inclined, with the ability to play any instrument handed to him. He enjoyed photography and loved the simple things in life like nature, camping and sitting around a bonfire with family and friends. Jeremiah had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh as it just came naturally to him. He had such a loving heart and was an advocate for people in need. He loved helping others and encouraged everyone to embrace their talents, gifts and inner strength.

Jeremiah truly had such an enormous impact on all those around him and will be missed dearly by everyone.

Jeremiah is survived by his sister, Angelica A.L. Lindgren; his niece, Elizabeth V.L. Nixon, and his nephew, Andrew J.S. Nixon. He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn M. Lindgren (2014) and his mother, Victoria L. Lindgren (2020).

A private Celebration of Life will be held later in the spring.
