Jerome J. “Jerry” Loftis

Jerome J. Loftis, 69, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022, at Sanford Health on Broadway, Fargo, ND.

Jerome “Jerry” Loftis was born in Grand Forks, ND, on October 7, 1952, to Francis and Doris (Halvorson) Loftis. He grew up and attended school in Fargo/Moorhead.

Jerry married Josephine Goodbird in 1975 and they had three girls, Joy, Winona, and Robinette. They later divorced but continued to be good friends. Around 1985 Jerry met Yvonne and they had two daughters, Kayla, and Emily.

Jerry is survived by his five daughters; nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Betty; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and six siblings, Dollie, Gaylord, Laura, Patrick, Mary Ann, and a baby brother.
