Jerome T. Sullivan

Jerome (Jerry) Sullivan (85) died Tuesday morning at the Sanford Hospice House.
Jerry Sullivan was born August 16, 1934 to Daniel and Alice (Craemer) Sullivan in West Brook, MN. His family moved to Waubun, MN where he attended school through 8th grade.
He worked on the family farm, which he later purchased, and remained there caring for his parents until their deaths. In 1980, he sold the farm and moved into Moorhead where he worked at American Crystal for 16 years, drove sugar beet trucks and worked other miscellaneous jobs, keeping himself busy.
He then moved to Dilworth where he remained until his death. He worked part time at the Dilworth Recycling Center where he had the opportunity to serve the community and visit with those stopping by.
Jerry was a member of St. Elizabeth’s Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus and the Detroit Lakes’ Eagles. He enjoyed buying and selling cars and took special pride in a 1988 Ford pickup.
Preceding him in death were his parents, one sister Julia, and one brother Dan. He is survived by a niece; Linda Siems, and nephews; Dan Sullivan and Dennis Sullivan.
A private funeral service will be at St. Elizabeth’s Church in Dilworth.
Interment will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery in Waubun, MN.
Memorials are preferred to St. Elizabeth’s Church.
