Joanne A. Hokanson

Joanne A. Hokanson, 47, Moorhead, MN, died on Sunday, April 3, 2011, in the Golden Living Center, Moorhead, MN. Joanne Fiore was born on September 17, 1963, in Bethpage, Long Island, New York, to Joseph and Lou Borgo Fiore. She grew up and attended school in Sherburne, New York, and graduated from Proctor High School, Utica, New York. She moved to Florida with her mom and then Rochester, MN, where she met Phil Hokanson. They were married on August 11, 2001 at Pine Island, MN, where they made their home. They moved to Moorhead in December of 2008, where they have lived since. She worked for Cardinal Minnesota, Accurate Home Care and finally for the West Fargo Schools.Joanne is survived by her husband Phil, Moorhead, MN; son Tim Mann, Duluth, MN, and daughter Erica Mann, Fargo, ND; grandson Donoven, Fargo, ND; brothers John Fiore, Arizona, and Chris Fiore, Salt Lake City, Utah; two half sisters, Nicole Arcuri, Utica, New York, and Amanda Comstock, Utica, NY; father, Joseph Tracy Fiore, Utica, New York.
