Joanne M. Trigg

Joanne Trigg, 83, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018, at Sanford Health’s Palliative Care Center, Fargo, ND. Joanne was born in Pipestone, MN, on May 17, 1935, to Howard and Esther (Neuman) Trigg. She grew up attending school in Baltic, SD, where she graduated from high school. Following high school, she moved to Sioux Falls, SD. Joanne married Lloyd France and started a family. She later moved to Barnesville, MN, and in 1966, married Ron Erdmann.  She remained busy with taking care of family and their home. Joanne later moved to Moorhead where she has lived since.

In her younger years, Joanne enjoyed riding horses and playing piano. She had a gift of playing piano by ear and loved entertaining family when she had the chance. Her family was most important to her. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and she will be dearly missed.

Joanne is survived by her children, Len (Kim) France, Rex (Connie) France, Jolynn (Roy) Low, Ronda (Larry) Adrian and Lisa (Jody) Davis; grandchildren, Danielle (Chad), Len Jr., Michelle (Michael), Lacey (Shon), Dakota, Hunter, River, Brittany, Brady, Krista, Alysha (Colin) and McKenzie; great-grandchildren, Adam, Alonzo, Skylar, Jayden, Bailey, Jase, Jeremiah, Camdyn, Lucy, Brayden and Jaxon; one great-great grandchild Melissa; brother, Terry (Dee) Trigg; sister, Janice (Carl) Erbacher; and her dear friend, Alex.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Esther; son, Greg France; granddaughter, Melissa; and brother, Don.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 3, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead.
