Joey D. Paquin

Joseph “Joey” Paquin, age 23, of Lake Park, MN, died on Friday, May 3, 2012, at his home.

Joey was born on December 20, 1989, in Fargo, ND, to Danny and Leticia Ramirez Paquin. Joey grew up and attended school in Halstad, MN, graduating from Halstad High School in 2008. He began working in the auto body industry and most recently was working at Midwest Rod & Customs Shop in Lake Park. Joey enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycle and dirt bikes as well as snowmobiles. Most importantly, Joey enjoyed spending time with his family and three children whom he adored.

He is survived by his parents, Danny and Tish Paquin; daughters, Aaleah, Mia Amor Paquin and son, Tristen Paquin; brothers, Blas Esmer and Chris Gonzales; sisters, Amber Paquin, Rebecca Smiley Perez and Rita Gonzales; grandparents, Linda Larry Hellerud, Billy Elaine Bitker and Dwayne Paquin; aunts and uncles, Tyler Teresa Bitker, Billie Matt Franesl, Carla Joe Doll, Kari Joe Thiele, Loius Katy Paquin and Jayme Carol Paquin as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents; sisters, Lisa Gonzales and Dianne Burn; and uncles, Corey Bitker and Chris Pauqin.

Visitation: Monday, May 6, 2013, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
