John O. Stoutland

John O. Stoutland, 84, Fargo, ND, died on Thursday, December 29, 2005, in Bethany Homes, Fargo, ND.John O. Stoutland was born on September 21, 1921, in Fargo, ND, where he grew up, graduating from Fargo Central High School. John served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, entering service on January 16, 1941 and being discharged on August 26, 1944. He married Virginia Howe on August 26, 1944, in Fargo, ND, where they made their home. John worked as a self-employed house painter and then for Standard Oil, before going to work for Super Value in Fargo as a warehouseman, where he spent twenty five years, retiring in 1982.John is survived by his wife, Virginia, Fargo, ND; son, John A. "Jack" Anna Stoutland, Coral Springs, FL; daughter, Judy Aafedt, Detroit Lakes, MN; brother Arnold Susan Stoutland, San Clemente, CA; sister Clara Muralt, Shakopee, MN; four grandchildren and two great-grandchidren.Note: John's wife, Virginia has since died. She died on January 7, 2006
