Joshua Matthew Dexter “Josh” Linman

Joshua Matthew Dexter Linman, 38, of Dilworth, MN, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Thursday, April 14, 2022.

Josh was born on February 27, 1984, to Matthew Linman and Lori Ingebretson, in Minneapolis, MN. He graduated from Minnewaska Area High School in Glenwood, MN, in 2002. He then attended and graduated from Fergus Falls Community College with an associate degree in Arts and then went on to play college football for Concordia for three years. In 2006, Josh began his career as a salesman with Bergseth Brothers where he continued to work until the present day. He was united in marriage to Nicole Perryman on December 1, 2007, in Glenwood, MN. They moved to Dilworth, MN, where they raised their three girls.

Josh had a kind soul and was loyal to a fault. He was a big teddy bear and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was an outdoorsman who loved to swim in the lakes and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was very intelligent and could pull a fact out of a hat and enjoyed listening to informative podcasts. He had a love for sports, and particularly loved watching his daughter play softball. He had love to share for everyone, but above all else, he loved his daughters with all his heart.

Josh is survived by his wife, Nicole; daughters, Natalee, Izzy, and Lilly; brothers, Jamie (Jill) Linman and Daniel Gulsvig; nephew, Dexter Linman; niece, Hollis Linman; parents, Matthew Linman and Lori Gulsvig; mother and father-in-law, David and Patricia Perryman; sisters-in-law, Alison (Andy) Radil and Meghan (Marvin) Ogaja; nephews and nieces-in-law, Austin Weber, Adrien Radil, Autumn Radil, and Myles Ogaja; and many other loving relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dexter and Claire; best friend, Nick Rassmussen; and uncle, David Ingebretsen.

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN. Visitation will continue on Thursday, April 21, 2022, from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., followed by the memorial service at 11:00 A.M., at Dilworth Lutheran Church, Dilworth, MN. Final resting place will be at Glenwood Lutheran Cemetery, Glenwood, MN, at a later date.
