Joyce G. Rehder

Joyce G. Rehder, 89, Moorhead, MN, formerly Averill, MN, died on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, in Eventide Nursing Home, Moorhead, MN.
Joyce G. Osmundson was born on September 6, 1925 in Averill, MN, to Gilbert and Julia Rue Osmundson. She grew up and attended school there. She was a lifetime member of Scandia Lutheran Church, and was baptized and confirmed there. Joyce married Donald Rehder on December 15, 1944 at Scandia Church in Averill and they made their home in Averill.
Donald died on September 10, 2005, and Joyce then moved to Sharp View apartments in Moorhead. She had worked as a housecleaner for much of her life. She enjoyed spending time at Middle Cormorant Lake with her family and could generally be found inside preparing food and cleaning.
Joyce is survived by her daughter, Darlene Alm, Moorhead, MN; sons Terry Bobbi Rehder, Albertville, MN, and Ken Bonnie Rehder, Detroit Lakes, MN; five grandchildren Dawn Marie Vijay Goswami, Larry Michelle Christiansen, Jason Lori Guida Rehder, Tiffani Jon Steinke, Bryce Jenna Solheim; four great-grandchildren Jacob Steinke, Jeb Christiansen, Chloe Steinke and Kyle Christiansen.
Funeral: Monday, May 18. 2015, at 10:00 A.M., in Scandia Lutheran Church, Averill, MN, with visitation for one hour before the funeral in the church.
Interment: Scandia Lutheran Church Cemetery, Averill, MN.
