Joyce L. Kowalski

Joyce L. Kowalski, age 80, of Moorhead, MN, died Monday, November 1, 2010, in Evergreens Assisted Living, Moorhead, MN, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.Joyce Kowalski was born on May 15, 1930, to Raymond and Catherine McCurdy Larson in Fargo, ND. Joyce grew up on Oak Street in Fargo and later the family moved to Moorhead. Joyce worked as a secretary for Eide Helmeke Bohls & Paasch before deciding to become a fulltime homemaker. She enjoyed reading and most of all, spending time with her family and friends.She is survived by three sons, Jon Diana Kowalski of Moorhead, MN, Mike Brenda Kowalski of Dilworth, MN and Jerry Kowalski of Fargo, ND; four daughters, Linda Clary of Moorhead, MN, Cheryl Clint Ambers of Audubon, MN, Mary Hejl of Fargo, ND and Teresa Zuther of Mandan, ND; fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, Martin Kowalski, son-in-law, George Clary and great-grandson, Carter Ambers.
