Judith Ann Erickson, age 66, of Audubon, MN, passed away on March 28, 2010, at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND. She was surrounded by her children and extended family.Judy was born May 13, 1943, to Alvin and Margaret Knutson in Hawley, MN. She grew up in Lake Park where she also attended school. She finished her education at Glyndon Public School with the help of Lois and Gordon Wentland. At age 10, Judy lost her mother and helped her father raise her five siblings: Butch, Stanley, Diane, Paulette and Kathy.On August 19, 1961, Judy married Donald E. Erickson of Eglon Township, MN. Together they raised four devoted children. Judy was an extraordinary wife, loving mother and a wonderful homemaker. She contributed to the community by working at Audubon Public School with her sister Kathy and Lakecrest Resort. She enjoyed painting with her sister Diane and doing crafts. Her most cherished contribution was serving the Lord at Audubon Chapel up until her passing.Judy is survived by her children, Barb Lowell Grubb, Brian Naz Erickson, Brenda Steve Walz and Becky Joel Hemze; siblings, Stanley Knutson, Diane Knutson, Kathy Clarence Anderson; thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Erickson; parents, Alvin and Margaret; brothers, Butch and Teddy; sisters, Paulette and Karen. Judy was generous of love and spirit, a servant of the Lord, a woman of wisdom and an exceptional Mother. She marked our lives with her unconditional love and laughter. Judy, you have touched more hearts than you could possibly imagine. You will remain in our hearts and be eternally missed.
