Judith Bergh

Judith Crowley Bergh, 60, of Dilworth, MN, died of cancer on Thursday, March 24, 2011, in Triumph Hospital, Fargo, ND. Judy, daughter of Melvin and Theresa Dovre Bergh, was born in Detroit Lakes, MN on August 18, 1950. Judy graduated college with degrees in English literature, paralegal administration, and Spanish and worked as a paralegal, secondary teacher, and operator for the disabled.In March, 1980, Judy was united in marriage with Stephen P. Crowley. Their daughter, Katherine, born May 7, 1981, was the most cherished blessing in Judy's life, along with the rest of her family.Judy loved nature, the outdoors, and all animals and wildlife. She gave loving homes to many needy animals throughout her life. She enjoyed reading and listening to music. Judy loved the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and the North Shore in Minnesota and would travel there whenever she could.Judy is survived by her mother, Theresa Dovre Bergh of Detroit Lakes, MN; brother and sister-in-law Jon and Gerilinda MacDonald Bergh of Jacksonville, FL; and her daughter, Katherine Crowley of Duluth, MN. She is preceeded in death by her father, Melvin Bergh of Detroit Lakes, MN.Judy will be cremated and her ashes scattered in the Minnesota Arrowhead she loved so well.
