Judith M. Wagenman

Judith “Judy” Wagenman, 81, of Lake Park, MN, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2014, in Essentia Health, Fargo, ND. Judy was born September 22, 1932, in Rock Lake, ND, to Sepu and Amelia Juusola Keranen. Following high school she continued her education at North Dakota State College of Science. She then moved to Chicago for a time and worked with the Air Force. On December 19, 1952, she married Jack Wagenman at Pearl Harbor, Oahu, HI. Together they lived in Hawaii until returning to the Fargo/Moorhead area following Jack’s service in the U.S. Navy. In 1974, they moved to Lake Park and have enjoyed their time living near Lake Cormorant for several years. Judy enjoyed spending time outdoors and gardening. She will be greatly missed.

Judy is survived by her husband, Jack; daughters, Pat Duane Miller Wagenman of Benson, MN, Lori Steve Olson of Lake Park, MN; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brothers, Morris, Dewey and Bill Keranen.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Douglas and William; brothers, Andrew, Adrian and Russell Keranen; and sister, Algie Morris.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, August 9, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., with a memorial service at 2:30 p.m., in the Cormorant Community Center.
