Judy Loretta Mccarty

Judy Loretta (Hanson) McCarty, 79, of Fargo, ND, passed away on Saturday, August 29, 2020, in Sanford Health Hospital, West Fargo, ND.

Judy was born to Hector and Mabel Hansen n November 11th at home in a blizzard and attended schools in Fargo. Judy married Duane Johnson. Subsequently she married Gene McCarty. Judy loved picnics in the park and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Judy is survived by her sons Randy (Brenda) Johnson, Tim (Robin) McCarty, Greg McCarty and step-son Keith, and sisters Mary Lou Cote, Lavon (Doug) Tongate, brother Wesley (Edie) Hansen, sister- in-law Bonnie Hansen, and grandsons Zack and Luke Johnson, Nick (Becky) McCarty, Travis, Jacob McCarty and her great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her infant sons John and Kevin, brother and sister-in-law Leo and (Josephine) Hansen, sister and brother-in-law Marjorie (Warren) Halleen, brother and sister-in-law Jim (Sally) Hansen, sister and brother-in-law Virginia (Gil) Egge, brother Doug Hansen and brother-in-law Don Cote.

Memorial service will be held at Oak Grove Park on September 26th 2020 at 1:00 pm in the main shelter with COVID precautions.
