Kathleen M. Dupree

Kathleen was born February 28, 1955, in Soudan, Minnesota, to William and Emma Courier Dixon. She grew up in Aiken, Minnesota where she graduated from high school. She then attended Moorhead State University where she studied Psychology, Criminal Justice and Sociology. Kathleen married Michael DuPree on March 19, 1977, in Roseau, Minnesota. Together, they lived in Warroad, Detroit Lakes, Texas and also in Germany for four years before moving to Audubon in May 1986, where they have lived since. Kathleen enjoyed caring for people and pets, working in her backyard, and most importantly, spending time with her family and enjoying the holidays. She is survived by her husband, Michael DuPree of Audubon, MN; two sons, Jesse Renee DuPree of Audubon, MN, and Jeremy Jamie Maxwell DuPree of Audubon, MN; four brothers, Jerry Dixon of Detroit Lakes, MN, Donald Glennis Dixon of Detroit Lakes, MN, Alvin Dixon of Detroit Lakes, MN, and Tim Valarie Dixon of Detroit Lakes, MN; one sister, Dorothy Gerald Fish of Moorhead, MN; granddaughter, Autumn Mae;step-grandchildren, Candi, Heather, Kenny and Jonni; and great-grandchildren, Robby, David, Haley, Elias, Bella, Mason and Braden.
