Kathleen M. Schneider

Kathleen M. Schneider, 82, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Monday, January 21, 2013 in Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids, MN. Kathleen was born October 9, 1930, in Mt. Carmel, ND, to John and Emma Gapp Schneider. She grew up and attended school in Mt. Carmel and later moved to Langdon, ND, at the age of 17. In 1951, she moved to Minneapolis. She later moved to Moorhead to be closer to family. Kathleen enjoyed playing cards, volunteer work, was involved with Catholic Daughter’s, but most of all loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Stephanie Michael Hanson of Moorhead; grandchildren, Nick, Travis and Emily; sibling, James Schneider of Minneapolis, Jean Westphal of Langdon, Doris Don Borho of Langdon, Mary Spratt of Coon Rapids, Bette Popowitz of Coon Rapids, Leona Schneider of New Rockford, ND, Rick Schneider of Blaine, MN, Floyd Shirley Schneider of Long Lake, MN; sister-in-law, Jerrie Schneider; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Jerome Schneider, Bonnie Fischer and Allen Schneider.

Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, January 25, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., in Nativity Catholic Church, Fargo, ND.
Visitation: Friday, January 25, 2013, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., in Nativity Catholic Church, Fargo, ND.
Interment: St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
