Kathryn Bridwell

Kathryn Bridwell, 77, Moorhead, MN, died on Sunday, May 22, 2011, in Sanford Health Palliative Care, Fargo, ND.Kathryn Berens was born on March 15, 1934, in Walker, Kansas, to Herman and Elizabeth Staab Berens, she lived in Burlington, Colorado till she was ten and then came to Fargo, ND, to live with her aunt and uncle, Roy and Marie Dwyer. She graduated from Fargo Central High School. Kathryn married Donald Bridwell on April 27, 1957, in St. Mary's Cathedral in Fargo, ND, where they made their home until moving to Moorhead in 1966. Kathryn was a busy homemaker raising four children and helping her husband run the family business. She was an avid fan of Moorhead Blues Baseball, watching her grandsons play for nine years. She loved having all her grandchildren visit and travelling with them. Her husband, Donald, died on March 27, 2011. She is survived by her sons, Bart Cathy Bridwell, Silver Spring, MD, and Scott Bridwell, Dilworth, MN; daughters, AnnDee Mark Pieterick, Moorhead, MN, and Janet Bridwell, Winona, MN; brothers, Joseph Berens and Earl Berens, both of Burlington, CO; sister, Arlene Swartz, Denver, CO; five grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Joseph, Sarah and Zachary. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and eight brothers and sisters.Memorials may be given to the Moorhead Field of Dreams at Matson Field, P.O. Box 322, Moorhead, MN, 56560.
