Katie Ann Hestbeck

Katie Ann Hestbeck, 40, of Moorhead, MN, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023, surrounded by her loving family, under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley at Lilac Homes, Moorhead, MN.

Katie was born on August 25, 1982, to Marv and Charlene (Olson) Hestbeck, in Fargo, ND. She grew up in Sabin, MN, attending school in Moorhead, MN. She painted with Thomson Painting in Wolverton, MN, before moving to Moorhead with her boyfriend, Tom, where she has lived ever since. There, she enjoyed being a stay at home mother for her two children, Gage and Ashlyn.

Katie enjoyed camping and fishing at Net Lake. She also enjoyed coaching and playing softball and working on cars with her father, Marv. Her favorite holiday was Halloween and she absolutely loved decorating and working at the Haunted Farm where she had a blast scaring as many people as she could. Above all, she was an amazing mother and aunt and would do anything for her kids, nieces, and nephew. She would often be heard saying “I Got This” and lived by a quote she had on her wall, “What if I fall? Oh, but darling, what if you fly?”

Katie is survived by her boyfriend of 10 years, Tom Isabell; children, Gage and Ashlynn Klee; Tom’s children, Tyler Isabell and Timara Flink; Timara’s son, Roman; parents, Marv (Karen Martin) Hestbeck and Charlene Hestbeck; siblings, Jessica (Ryan) Krabbenhoft, Patrick (Amanda) Hestbeck, and Ashley Hestbeck; nieces and nephew, Mattea, Aadyn, Addyson, Chloe, Carlee, and Aleah; her dogs, Scout and Buddy; and many other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from noon to 1:00 P.M., followed by the memorial service at 1:00 P.M., Friday, March 3, 2023, at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
