Keith A. Brendemuhl

Keith Allen Brendemuhl, 64, of Moorhead, MN passed away on February 2nd, 2012, at his home.Keith Butch was born on January 4th, 1948, to Roy and Adeline Andre Brendemuhl. He grew up on and made his forever home on the Brendemuhl family farm in rural Moorhead and graduated from Moorhead High School in 1966. After graduation from high school, Keith spent six years in the North Dakota Air National Guard, before his honorable discharge in 1974. He was united in marriage to Carol Reiersgord on October 26, 1974. He was a lifelong farmer in the Kragnes area, and even after retiring from farming his own land, he was happiest helping out in the fields of friend's and family's farms. Keith was very proud of his work in the past with 4-H and as the treasurer for Kragnes Township and North Buffalo Lutheran church, and more recently, serving on the boards of Minnkota Power and Red River Electric Co-op. He thoroughly enjoyed traveling which included weekend trips to his lake cabin in the summer and Arizona in the winter. Those who knew him will remember his willingness to lend a helping hand, be a listener, and give advice. He was a kind and giving man, with a generous heart, who took pride in caring for his family and friends. Keith was incredibly proud of his children and grandchildren, and will be missed greatly by all who knew him. He made a forever and lasting impact on all the lives he touched.He is survived by his children: Shelly Tom Brokaw, Eugene, Oregon, Troy Fiona Brendemuhl, Moorhead, and Jill Scott Daignault, West Fargo; grandchildren: Aaron Brokaw, Jenna and Matthew Brendemuhl, Alysha and Erin Daignault and baby boy Daignault due in April; brothers: Charles Patty Brendemuhl, Mark Myra Brendemuhl, and Joel Shari Brendemuhl; sisters: Jeannie Jim Kuehl, and Mary Mark Schlueter; nieces and nephews: Sheila Mike Butenhoff, Tim CoCo Brendemuhl, Scott Melissa Brendemuhl, Ashley Brendemuhl, Chris Brendemuhl, Renae Chris Nicolich, and Janeen Ryan Smart.Keith was preceded in death by his parents.In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Keith's name to a charity of your choosing.
