Keith E. Strand

Keith E. Strand, 64, of Moorhead, MN, passed away Monday, January 9, 2023, at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND.

Keith Edward Strand was born January 31, 1958, to Hartvick “Shocky” and Evelyn (Woessner) Strand in Fargo, ND. He grew up in Moorhead and graduated from Moorhead High School.

Early in life, Keith’s entrepreneurial mindset took hold, and he purchased a silk-screening business which he named Strand Lettering. Keith also enjoyed woodworking, stained glass, and painting.

He is survived by his mother; siblings, Susan Strand Kirkland and her children, Anna, Tom, and Alice, George (Gina) Strand and their children, Jason and Andrew, Sandra Strand, Sarah (R. Scott) Strand and their children, Matthew (Sarah Connolly), and Brian; great-nephew, Michael, and great-nieces, Mairead and Rose.

He was preceded in death by his father, and brother, Kent.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023, from 5-6:30 PM with a prayer service beginning at 6:30 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Moorhead, MN.

A funeral service with Livestream will be held Friday, January 13, 2023, at 11:00 AM with a visitation one hour before the service at the church.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
