Keith J. Krogen

Keith Jerome Krogen was born on November 3, 1957, to Jerome and Lillian Johnson Krogen in Detroit Lakes, MN. He grew up and attended school in Lake Park, graduating from Lake Park High School in 1976. Immediately after graduation, Keith began working for the North Dakota Air National Guard, where he worked until his retirement on April 15, 2010. Keith married Becky Holmgren on May 24, 1980 at Eksjo Lutheran Church. Keith was a social butterfly who enjoyed hunting and fishing, motorcycles and snowmobiles, farming, spending time with his cattle, bison, dogs and his donkey, Donna, as well as spending time with his family.He is survived by his wife, Becky Krogen of Lake Park, MN; three sons, Jared, Joshua and Jacob Krogen of Lake Park, MN; parents, Jerome and Lillian Krogen of Lake Park, MN; one brother, Korey Krogen of Detroit Lakes, MN; three sisters, Kathy Lloyd Ness of Lake Park, MN, Kim Darrell Gunnarson of Lake Park, MN and Kristie Krogen-Marotzke of Blaine, MN; two grandchildren, Joey Romare and Kylie Marie Krogen as well as several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by one sister, Karen Krogen and grandparents, Oscar and Anna Johnson and Einar and Inga Krogen.
