Kelly D. Brandser, 40, of Fargo, ND, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017, in Moorhead, MN. Kelly was born February 8, 1977, in Fargo. He attended school in his early years in Idaho before moving back to Fargo in his middle school years. Kelly graduated from Fargo South High School in 1995. Following high school, he served in the U.S. Navy before moving back home to Fargo where he worked at Red River Commodities.

Kelly was a one of a kind person – he had a personality that drew people to him. He was a true family gem and had an amazing sense of humor and wit. He was a huge sports fan, enjoyed music, and loved keeping up on celebrity gossip. Most of all, however, he loved his family.

Kelly is survived by his mother, Linda Sonius Dietrich; brother, Brian Michelle Brandser of Shiprock, NM; sister, Chelsea James Kiser of Orange County, CA; nieces and nephews, BJ and Jeremy Brandser, and Lukas and Kaidence Kiser. He is also survived by aunts and uncles, David Norman, Kathy Scott Thomas, Ruth James Smith, Lisa Geldreich, Mary Kay Wang, and Louise Richter; along with several cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Brandser; and grandparents, Russell and Mary Brandser and Myron and Nona Geldreich.

A memorial gathering will be held Sunday, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., with a service and time for sharing starting at 3:00 p.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Hawley, MN.
