Kenneth A. Covey, 44, of Lake Park, MN, passed away on April 10, 2018 in his home.

Kenneth Andrew Covey was born on March 28, 1974 to Charlotte Covey and Merlyn Haugen.  He grew up in Lake Park and graduated from Lake Park-Audubon High School in 1992.

Kenny loved helping people, especially the elderly and would help them with shoveling in the winter and mowing lawns in the summer.  He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing, as well as picking cans for recycling.  He also enjoyed watching his Minnesota Vikings and Twins and most Monday nights were spent watching wrestling.  He had two cats, which he loved.  Kenny will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his parents; brothers, Kevin (Jennifer) Covey, Moorhead, MN, Kirk Haugen, Detroit Lakes, MN; nieces and nephews, Mariah and Hunter Covey, and Darby (James) Hetzler, Kaida and Carter Haugen, a great-niece and a great-nephew and his godfather, Allen Knopf.

He was preceded in death by grandparents Harry and Lillian Covey, sister, Kristina and uncles, Butch, Harvey, Curtis and Johnny.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Lake Park Lutheran Church, Lake Park, MN.  Family and friends are invited to gather one hour before the service at the church.

Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Lake Park, MN.
