Kevin L. Gustafson

Kevin Lloyd Gustafson, 45, of Moorhead, MN, and formerly of Sidney, MT, passed away at home on Thursday, February 4, 2016. Kevin was born July 5, 1970, in Sidney, MT, to Keith and Judy Strack Gustafson. He grew up and attended school in Sidney, graduating from high school in 1988. He continued his education at college in Dillon, MT. Kevin lived in Billings, MT, where he worked for Western Crystal Sugar before returning to Sidney where he worked in the oil fields. In 2007, Kevin moved to Moorhead and most recently had been at American Crystal Sugar where he was a Boiler House Forman, A Shift. He was proud to be licensed as a Chief Engineer Grade A in the State of Minnesota. Kevin married Leah Victoria Orcasitas on June 22, 2015. He was a loving and devoted husband and very dedicated to his family. He took pride in self educating himself. Kevin enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping, fishing and traveling. He also enjoyed sports, especially football and wrestling, but most of all he loved spending time with family. He will be dearly missed.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Victoria; mother, Judy of Sidney; siblings, Kayla Gustafson of Moorhead, Kelly Cindy Gustafson of Sidney, Kenny Gustafson of Billings, Robert Gustafson of Sidney, Barb Gustafson of Sidney; nieces and nephews, Cody, Dalton, Gage, SheaLi, Chris, ReAnna and Austin; and his dog, Echols.

He was preceded in death by his father, Keith; grandparents, Adolph and Ruth Gustafson and Henry and Eleanor Strack; uncle, David; and dog Gordy.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 10, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, February 11, at 1 p.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
