Larry Ford

Larry John Ford, 66, of Fargo died Wednesday, May 9.  Larry was born on April 8, 1952 to Henry and LaVon (Kuehl) Ford.  He grew up on a farm north of Hawley.  He graduated from Hawley High in 1970.  Following high school, he attended Bethany Lutheran College, and then was drafted into the Army.  His career was with the Fargo VA.  He married Pam Hanson in August of 1975.  They had a son, Shawn, and daughter, Heather.  His passions were family, sports, music, and animals.

Larry is survived by his mother, LaVon Ford; son, Shawn (Christie) Ford; daughter, Heather (Aaron) Brockman; grandchildren, Hallie and Hudson Brockman; sisters, Kathy (David) Meissner, Lori (Roger) Mjones and Pat (Dean) Haugen; nieces, nephews and cousins; aunts, Arlene Holm and Irene Kluck; foster sister, Diane Sanden and special friend, Ronda Jones.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Ford, and brother, Charles Ford.

Larry donated his body to the University of North Dakota School of Medicine.

A celebration of life will be held at Wright Funeral Home, Hawley, MN, on Monday, May 14 at 1:00 PM with a visitation beginning at 12:00.
