Larry M. Newton

Larry M. Newton, 66, of Grand Forks, ND and formerly of Fargo, ND passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 at his home in Grand Forks.

Larry Michael Newton was born March 7, 1951 in Fargo, ND, the son of Frank and Jeanette (Rinke) Newton.  He graduated from Lake Park High School in Lake Park, MN and attended Josef’s School of Hair Design in Fargo.  He thoroughly enjoyed being a Hairstylist and getting to know each client.

Larry was quite a character.  He was the life of the party and brought joy and laughter to many.  He was so very loved and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by a brother, Brad (Randi) Newton, Park Rapids, MN; a sister, Tamara (Mike) Donnelly, Bishop, CA; five nieces and nephews:  Casey (Brieanna Lise) Newton, Eau Claire, WI, Courtney (Mark) and son, Brecken  Runyan, Frazee, MN, Chelsey Newton, Fargo, ND, Katie Raftevold and Joe Raftevold, both of Bishop, CA.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Darryl Newton.

Memorial gathering will be Saturday, June 30, from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m., followed by the memorial service at 3:00 p.m., in Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Interment will be at  Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
