Our beloved Larry was called home by our heavenly Father on January 28, 2012, surrounded by his family.Laurence Franklin LeBlanc was born January 30, 1941, in Hartford, Conn, to Jeanne Derouin and Amie LeBlanc. They later moved to Grand Forks, ND, where he attended and graduated from St. James Catholic School. Larry entered the military at the age of 18 and he served in the Air Force, active duty, for 11 years after which he became a member of the Happy Hooligans at the Air National Guard in Fargo. He retired in 1995 after serving 34 years. Larry was so proud of all the years of service he served for his Country that he truly loved. He loved his family dearly, and was very proud of his children and adored his grandchildren. He especially loved watching them in gymnastics, go-kart racing, hockey, and school activities. Larry loved the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, boating, going to their lake place and even getting up at 5:30 a.m. to cut the grass were some of his favorite pastimes.Larry is survived by his loving wife, Judy, and his and Judy's six children; son, David LeBlanc, Jackson, MS, daughter, Laura LeBlanc and Mike Fischer, Fargo, ND, daughter, Deborah LeBlanc and Chad Aberle, Finley, ND, son, Joey Amy Lease and Jerry Nikki Oye, Harwood, ND, daughter, Julie Lease, Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Paige, Logan, Luke, Stephanie, Jennifer, Amanda, Daniel, Alex, Josh, Ashley, Levi, Brianna, Shantel, Keesha, Wesley and Makenna; and great-grandchildren, Ryleigh, Kiptyn, Jamie, Ellie and Emma. He is also survived by his sisters, Karen Allard, Janet Chuck Pelzl, Ruth Les Kalenze, Lisa Sam Svejkowsky, and several nieces and nephewsHe was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law, Max, and niece Kristen.
