Lavonne Muchow

LaVonne Muchow, 87, Moorhead, MN, died on Tuesday, February 14, 2017, in Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.
LaVonne McDonald was born on December 17, 1929, in Detroit Lakes, MN, to Ronald and Effie Anderson McDonald. She grew up and attended school in Detroit Lakes and Moorhead, MN. LaVonne married Willard Muchow on her birthday December 17, 1945 and they made their home in Moorhead, where she was a homemaker. Willard died in 1996.
LaVonne was a charter member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. She loved to dance and roller skate, even when she was 80 years old. She was a proud mother and loved to listen to her sons play in their bands. She also loved to visit.
She is survived by her daughter Suzanne Donnie Olson, Mayville, ND; sons Steve Sandy, Audubon, MN, Doug Sue, Prescott Valley, AZ, Les Kelli, West Fargo, ND, Jeffrey, Fargo, ND, Todd Sandy, Fargo, ND, and Chad, Moorhead, MN; sixteen grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren; brothers Ronald Julie McDonald, Detroit Lakes, MN, Jim Linda McDonald, Texas, Curt Shari McDonald, Garland, TX. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Ernie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Virginia, and grandson Daniel.
Funeral: Saturday, February 18, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Moorhead, MN.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the church.
Interment: Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead, MN.
