Lawrence A. ’Larry’ Budish

Budish, age 68, died on Sunday, June 19, 2011 in Fargo, ND under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.Born to Felix and Clara Penas Budish on January 21, 1943 in Park River, ND. He graduated from WCAS, and then went on to earn degrees at Mayville State and UND. Larry taught in Park River, Hoople, and for 27 years in the Fargo Public Schools.He was a teacher, inventor, hobbyist, and athlete. Twice he represented North Dakota in the Men's National Silver Broom Curling Competition. He also was on a mixed curling team that scored an rare eight ender.He is survived by his wife Nancy Meagher Budish; son, Brad Kim Budish; daughter, Stephanie Jon Logan; mother, Clara Budish; brother, Gary Shelley Budish; brother-in-law, Jay Myster; four grandchildren, Shae, Annsley, Avynn and Joshua as well as several uncles and cousins.He was preceded in death by his father, Felix; brother, Donald; parents-in-law, Duncan and Virginia Meagher and sister-in-law, Susan Meagher Myster.
