Leigh Johnson

Leigh Johnson, 53, of Hawley, MN, died Monday, August 7, 2017, at Sanford Health in Fargo.

Leigh Anthony Johnson was born June 22, 1964, in Moorhead, MN, to Ronald and Colleen Fabre Johnson. He grew up and graduated from high school in Hawley, MN. Leigh attended two years of college at Moorhead State University in the criminal justice program.

Leigh enjoyed fishing, reading, playing poker on the computer, and spending time with his ferocious dachshund, Charlie. He was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings-especially when they were winning! Leigh enjoyed spending time with his good friends that stood by him through the years.

He is survived by his mother, Colleen Johnson, Hawley; half-sister, Brita, Minneapolis; and best friend, Charlie. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Johnson.

Funeral service: Monday, August 14, 2017, at 1:00 P.M., with visitation for one hour before the service, at Wright Funeral Home in Hawley. Interment: Hawley Cemetery.
