Lester E. Yeager

Lester Yeager, 90, Felton, MN, died on Saturday, November 12, 2011, in Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.Lester was born on January 14, 1921, in Moorhead, MN, to Homer and Florence Breau Yeager. He grew up and attended school in Felton, MN. He started farming in Viding Township, Clay County, near Felton. In 1943, Lester joined the Elton Yeager family and farmed with Elton for many years. Lester enjoyed farm mechanics, sugar beet hauling, movies, photography, guitar and small band music. He looked forward to and really enjoyed activities of the annual Felton Field Days in June. He especially enjoyed driving his shiny red old convertible with members of the Viding Birthday Club ladies down main street in the parade. He's been a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Felton for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Florence Yeager, brother Elton Yeager of Felton and brother Alfred Yeager of Klamath Falls, OR. He is survived by many nieces and nephews.
