Lillian Woolever, 88, of Moorhead, died Tuesday, July 5, 2005, in Innovis Health Systems, Fargo, ND.Lillian was born on October 29, 1916 to Henry and Minnie Lindow Hand, in Detroit Lakes, MN. She grew up and attended school in Detroit Lakes, graduating from high school in 1934. On March 17, 1942 she married Varnum Woolever in Detroit Lakes. They then moved to Crookston where Lillian worked as a cook for many years at the Crystal Sugar Beet Factory and the at Riverview Hospital. After their retirement in 1985 they moved to Moorhead. Varnum died on November 26, 1995. Lillian was a very creative mother and grandmother who loved working with her hands. She will be missed by many.She is survived by one daughter, Sandy Virgil Kohler, Moorhead, MN; one son, Maynard Woolever, FL; eight grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Henry A., Walter, Frank, Alfred and Henry R. Hand; and four sisters, Dorothy Simpson, Ethel Haft, Bessie Schultz and Margaret Taylor.
