Linda D. Elsaas

Linda D. Elsaas, age 68, of Elbow Lake, MN, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.

Linda Diane Kolegraf was born on March 12, 1950 to Theodore Jr. and Marjorie (Martin) Kolegraf in Hope, ND. She graduated from Griggs County Central High School in Cooperstown, ND before furthering her education at North Dakota State College of Science and graduating with a degree in accounting. She married Marvin Elsaas on October 11, 1969 in Cooperstown, ND. Together, they moved to Fargo, ND to start their family and had three children: Jeremy, Deanna, and Alison. They moved to Harwood, ND in 1972 where they spent 20 years raising their family. She worked various bookkeeping jobs over the years. Linda and Marvin moved to Elbow Lake in 2011. She retired from Nelson Auto Center out of Fergus Falls, MN in 2015.

Linda had a compassionate heart and loved caring for her grandchildren and rocking her grandchildren. She spent her free time working on Sudoku puzzles and watching her favorite television shows, Wheel of Fortune and anything with cooking. Her favorite hobby was collecting and organizing a variety of recipes. She enjoyed road trips with Marvin and watching the fall leaves change colors.

Linda is survived by her high school sweetheart of 48 years, Marvin; son, Jeremy (Patricia) Elsaas; daughters, Deanna (Chadd) Danielson and Alison (Mike) Henning; ten grandchildren, Courtney, Cassidy, Samantha, Miranda, Makiah, Tessa, Bridget, Payton, Laney, and Abel; brothers, Kim (Debbie) Kolegraf and James (Janet) Baird; and sister, Dawn (John) Reierson.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 5th, 2018 at 11:00AM at Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead. There will be a visitation one hour before the service.
