Linda D. Savageau

Linda (Weiss) Savageau, 71, of Fargo, ND, passed away gently in the arms of Jesus on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND. Linda was born in Moorhead, MN, on June 10, 1947, to Roy and Cora (Opgrand) Weiss.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Betty Basher.

Linda is survived by her children, Denise Weiss, Troy (Tara) Savageau, and Kimberly (Butch) Christensen; brothers, Roger Weiss and Jerry Weiss; her true love for over 34 years, Rick Tollerud; 6 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and all her friends at New Horizons, her second family.

We are thankful that she gave so much and asked for so little in return. We are thankful for her always being there for us, teaching us, listening to us, and forgiving us, loving us, and always paving the way for us. We will work hard to carry on her love and passion of giving to others.

All the joy and laughter you brought to many of your family and friends will be forever in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers please donate to the Moorhead Baptist Church in her honor.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 21, from 2 – 3 p.m., followed by the memorial service at 3 p.m., in Moorhead Baptist Church, Moorhead, MN.

Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
