Linda L. Knopfler

Linda L. Knopfler, 74, Ulen, MN, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019.

Linda LaVonne Knopfler was born in Ulen, MN, on April 24, 1945 to Kenneth and Lillian (Olson) Wang.  She grew up in Ulen and graduated from Ulen High School in 1963.

Following high school, she married Roger Knopfler.  She was a homemaker and raised their two children, Don and Lahna.  After the children left home, she went to work with her niece as a daycare provider in Naytahwaush, MN, until her nieces passing.  She then worked for Lake Park – Audubon public school until her retirement.  Following a stroke, she went to live with her daughter and son-in-law until her passing.

Linda is survived by her children, Don Knopfler and Lahna (Tom) Haverkamp; grandchildren, Casey (Mariah) Fevig and Danielle Knopfler; two great-grandchildren and brother, Marlin Wang.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lowell Wang.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 7 pm in Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Ulen, MN.
