Linda Ruth Shepard

Linda Ruth Shepard, 70, of Halstad, MN, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, in Halstad Living Center, Halstad, MN.

Linda was born on April 8, 1949, to Clayton and Gladys (Chambers) Anderson in Moorhead, MN. She attended and graduated from Hawley High School. She then attended Brainerd Tech School for floral design. She began her work in Fargo as a floral designer for several years before moving back to Hawley, MN. She immediately began working for the Norseman Restaurant. She moved to Halstad Living Center in 2013 due to illness.

Linda was a lifetime member of Hawley United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed embroidering dish towels for church fundraisers. Linda was devoted to and loved her family.

Linda is survived by her sisters, Betty (Jerry) Fogel, Kathy (Earl) Holland, and Patricia (Robert) Otto; and many other loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Gladys.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., followed by the memorial service at 11:00 A.M., Friday, May 24, 2019, at Hawley United Methodist Church, Hawley, MN. Final resting place will be at Hawley Cemetery following the service.
