Lindsey K. Adolphsen

Lindsey Katherine Lepper was born on December 4, 1996, in Fargo, ND to Wayne and Ernestine (Mayer) Lepper. She grew up on a farm north of Hawley, MN. She graduated from Hawley High School in 2015 and from NDSU in 2018.

Growing up she was involved with 4H, FFA, and National Honor Society. Lindsey enjoyed showing rabbits, chickens and pigs at the Clay County Fair every year and earned many ribbons and championships. She also earned several trips to the Minnesota State Fair with her animals and crop samples that she showed.

While in high school she worked at Hawley Senior Living as an aide. Her years at NDSU were spent studying, working at Hawley Senior Living until getting a part-time job at Bell Bank. After graduation from NDSU she started working full time at Bell Bank where she was employed as a loan officer until her passing.

On August 6, 2022, Lindsey and Kolten Adolphsen were married. They enjoyed spending time with family, camping, and doing some traveling. She also enjoyed relaxing at home with Kolten and her cat and watching game shows.

Sadly, Lindsey was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in December 2023. Despite receiving treatment, the disease was aggressive and progressed quickly.

Lindsey will be remembered as a hard working, kind, loving and detail oriented person. She liked getting her nails done with designs matching the time of year.

Lindsey K. Adolphsen, 27, of Moorhead, MN passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024, at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, ND surrounded by family and her best friend.

Lindsey is survived by her husband, Kolten, her parents, grandmother, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be Friday, April 5, 2024, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., with a prayer service and Livestream at 7:00 P.M., at Hawley United Methodist Church in Hawley, MN. 

Visitation will continue from 10;00 to 11;00 A.M. on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the church, with the Celebration of Life with Livestream beginning at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at Hawley Cemetery.

Those in attendance at either service are invited to wear the color purple or Dude shoes to celebrate and honor Lindsey.
