Logan F. Rinke

Logan Frederick Rinke, 24, of Dilworth, MN, died unexpectedly at his parent’s home on Friday, June 19, 2015.

Logan was born on July 3, 1990 in Fargo, ND, to Tim and Pauline Hauger Rinke. He was baptized at Glyndon Lutheran Church and later confirmed at Dilworth Lutheran Church, accompanied by his confirmation mentor, Wayne Schultz. Logan attended Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton schools, where he received his high school diploma. He was currently working for Nova Fire Protection in Fargo as a pipe fitter.

Logan loved to wrestle, play football, and ride his motorcycle. He was a section champion in wrestling and competed in the state tournament. One of Logan’s favorite places was Lake Lida, where he enjoyed fishing, horseshoes, and hanging around the campfire. Logan always looked forward to hunting each fall with family and friends at Giere’s deer camp; it will never be the same without him.

Logan will be remembered for his killer smile, dimples, sense of humor, and energetic personality. He was a protector of the weak and a role model to many, especially his nieces, Anna and Signe.
Logan is a loving son, caring brother, playful uncle, faithful soul mate, loyal friend, devoted grandson and cousin. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Logan is survived by his parents, Tim and Pauline Rinke, Dilworth MN; sister, Stacie Joe Sauvageau and his nieces, Anna and Signe, Fargo, ND; brother, Brady Nicole Rinke, Navarre, FL; the love of his life, Andrea Birmingham, Moorhead, MN, and her family; grandparents, Verle and JoAnn Rinke, Moorhead, MN, Stanley and Phyllis Morill, Fergus Falls, MN, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Signe Rinke; grandfather, Gerald Hauger; step-grandfather, Arnold Shirley; uncle, Dayle Hauger; aunt, Susan Hauger; cousin, Heidie Hauger; and close friend, Marc Anderson.

Visitation: Thursday, June 25, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. in Dilworth Lutheran Church, Dilworth, MN.

Funeral: Friday, June 26, at 11:00 a.m. in Dilworth Lutheran Church, Dilworth, MN.
