Lois Marie (Hoppe) Williams, 69, of Moorhead, MN, died peacefully on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at The Meadows Skilled Care facility in Fargo, ND.

Lois was born May 17, 1955, at St. Lukes Hospital in Fargo, ND, to parents Frank and Vivian Hoppe. She grew up on a farm south of Sabin, MN.

Lois attended elementary school in Comstock, MN, and graduated from Barnesville High School in 1973. She continued her education at Moorhead Technical College studying Bookkeeping.

She worked at the Double D Truck Stop where she met Don Williams. They were married July 9, 1988. They moved to Wisconsin and lived there for 20 years before returning to Moorhead.

Lois enjoyed her cats, quilting, shop hopping for quilting supplies, gardening, canning, and making her flower beds pretty. She also loved watching old westerns and visiting with friends.

Lois is survived by her brother, Dennis (Mona) Hoppe of Barnesville, MN; sister, Joyce (Reese) Cottrell of Alaska and Florida; brother-in-law, Roger Lee of Perley, MN; nieces and nephews, Chris Hoppe, Hayley Hoppe, Brooke Hoppe, Brandon Cottrell, Cody Cottrell; and several great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her step-children, Don Williams Jr., Dan (Christine) Williams, Chris (Kenny) Koch, Kathy (Todd) Shelto, Bruce (Allison) Williams, Mike (Gwen) Williams, Deb (Amy) Williams. She will be dearly missed by all.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sisters, Betty Hoppe and Margaret Lee.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 24, from 1:00 - 2:00 PM, followed by the memorial service at 2:00 PM, at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.

Interment will be at Comstock Lutheran Cemetery, Comstock, MN.
