Lois Lokken

Lois Lokken, 94, of North Oaks, MN, formerly of Sabin, MN, died Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Waverly Gardens in North Oaks.

Lois was born May 3, 1924 near Sabin, Minnesota. Lois was the daughter of Herbert and Ella Rosenfeldt. She graduated from Moorhead High School and attended Interstate Business College in Fargo.

Lois married Lynn Lokken on November 25, 1944 in Moorhead. They farmed near Sabin until retiring in 1984. Lois was very active at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sabin. She was an avid gardener and craftswoman and also worked at AAA of Moorhead and Moorhead School District #152.

Her husband, parents and sister Adeline Bartholomaus preceded her in death.

Lois is survived by sons David (Susan) of Palm Desert, CA; Greg (Lynne) Minneapolis, MN; daughter Georgia (Steve) North Oaks, MN; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters Glenna McEvers of Mesa, AZ and Shirley Setter of Salt Lake City, UT.

Funeral will be held on July 28th at 2pm at the Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead with visitation one hour before the service. Burial will follow at Trinity Lutheran Church cemetery in Sabin. A memorial service is planned for August 6 at 3pm at Waverly Gardens Presbyterian Home in North Oaks, MN.

Memorials may be given to the Lewy Body Dementia Association or the Dorothy Day House in Moorhead.
