Loren was born January 4, 1919 at Lake Park, MN to Albert and Olga Erickson Lindstrom. He grew up south of Lake Park and attended rural country school District 50. Loren spent six years in the U.S. Navy. On January 29, 1955 he married Hanna Shewchuk in Vancouver, B.C. Following his discharge from the Navy he worked for the Great Northern Railway Communication Department for seven years and Boeing Aircraft Company for eight years; after that they started the Lindstrom Lefse Plant in Bothell, Washington, which they operated for ten years. Loren and Hanna retired in 1974 and traveled with their trailer home for four years and in 1978 decided to settle in Mesa, Arizona. Loren was always inventing something and by trial and error it usually worked. Loren is survived by several nieces and nephews, and cousins. He was preceded by his wife, Hanna; his parents; two brothers, Maynard & Erling Lindstrom; and a sister, Ovedia Olson. The family would like to thank Hospice of the Red River Valley and Sunnyside Care Center for their wonderful care. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Hospice of the Red River Valley.
