Loren E. Nordholm

Loren E. Nordholm, 74, Wolverton, MN, died on Saturday, May 29, 2011, in Sanford Health Palliative Care, Fargo, ND. He showed courage in his last days.Loren was born April 10, 1937, in Moorhead, MN, to Arthur W. and Zana M. Dibley Nordholm. He lived in Wolverton all of his life, graduating from high school there. He was a good athlete, playing football, basketball and baseball. He served in the North Dakota Air National Guard Reserve for a number of years. Loren farmed at Wolverton all of his life, he was always willing to help where needed and will be dearly missed. Loren is survived by his brothers, Vern Ruth Nordholm, Richfield, MN, Charles E. Nordholm, Tulsa, OK; sisters, Doris E. Nelson, Richfield, MN, and Alice E. Dennis Streifel, Fargo, ND; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a special nephew, Kent Streifel.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Faith Lutheran Church building fund.
