Lori C. Long

Lori C. Long, 57, of Detroit Lakes, MN, lost her battle to cancer on Monday, July 8, 2013 in her home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley.

Lori Christine Englund was born on August 15, 1955 in Flandreau, SD to Ernie and Lavonne Englund. She grew up in Tyler, MN where she graduated from high school. Lori married Steve Long on July 8, 1973. She had a love for fashion and clothes. Lori managed various clothing stores until she became a mother and raised her children.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Steve; children, Heidi Danti Long, Taylor Long and Derek Long; brothers, Dallass Marian Englund and David Becky Englund; and grandchildren, Arianna and Sahara.

A private family service will be held.
