Luverne Bergren

Luverne was born November 20, 1922, to Julius and Gertrude Munder Riebe in Frazee, MN. She grew up in Frazee and married Walter Bergren in August of 1943. Together they farmed and made their home in the Audubon/Lake Park area.Luverne is survived by five children, Carol Gene Sletmoen of Moorhead, MN, Jim Bergren of Detroit Lakes, MN, Richard Cindee Bergren of Tulsa, OK, Tom Bergren of Lake Park, MN, Don Beth Bergren of Braham, MN; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Rod Shirley Riebe of Frazee, MN; and sisters, Grace Blaine of Frazee, MN and Linda Peterson of Dilworth, MN.She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; parents, Julius and Gertrude; two brothers, James and Jerry; and two sisters, Marge and Helen.
