Lynda Renae Meyer

Lynda ReNae (Oelrich) Meyer, 48, of Fergus Falls, MN, passed away in New York Mills, MN. Lynda was born on December 2, 1969, in Fargo, ND, to Don and Rose (Mooney) Oelrich.

Lynda graduated from Barnesville High School in 1988. She attended NDSU for 2 years before transferring to MSUM and graduating in 1992 with a Bachelor of Science in both Psychology and Sociology. In 1997, Lynda married Dallas Meyer in Maplewood State Park before moving to Pelican Rapids, MN. Lynda worked various jobs between Fargo and Fergus Falls, including as a Deputy of Cass County, Freedom Resources, and as a social worker for public schools.

Lynda was proud to have earned the rank of Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, she enjoyed instructing aerobics classes, keeping up her fitness, scrapbooking, and reading or watching anything related to the horror genre.

Lynda is survived by her children, Hunter Meyer, and Dylan Meyer; parents, Don (Ginger) Oelrich and Rose (Rodger) Branvold; sister, Rhonda (Marlin) Pfingsten; nieces, Samantha (Tim) Conneran, and Katrina (Hunter) Swendseid; nephew, Carson Pfingsten; and many other loving relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 11:00 AM with a visitation one hour prior to the service at Wright Funeral Home, Moorhead, MN.
