Lynell R. Mcmahan

Lynell R. McMahan, 70, of Ottertail, MN, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND. Lynell was born August 8, 1952, to Herman and Orva (Sheer) Anderson. She grew up and attended school in Dilworth, MN. After graduating from Dilworth High School, Lynell moved to California for a time before moving back to the area. Over the years, she enjoyed working at Moorhead Country Club and later at Seasons Restaurant at Rose Creek in Fargo. Lynell enjoyed the social nature of her work and helping others in the process. Most of all however, she loved spending time at the lake and especially time with her family. She will be dearly missed.

Lynell is survived by her children, Stacey (Becky) McMahan, Chris McMahan, Tera Urias; granddaughters, Alexis (Zach) Revering, Alyssa (Zack) Sanchez; great-grandson, Wesley; sister, Phyllis (Roger) Hanson; brothers, Dan (Marcia) Anderson and Roger Anderson; as well as her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Orva; and siblings, Jack Anderson, Valgene Anderson and Gloria Olson.

Visitation will be Monday, September 26, 2022, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., followed by the memorial service at 2:00 p.m., at Wright Funeral Home in Moorhead.
